How can you find words big enough
How do you describe the anticipation
of folding a mountain of small outfits
or buying your first set of newborn diapers
How can you explain the joy
of fingers aching from hours of carefully stitching
a less than perfect quilt
How can you tell the story
evoked by movement only you're aware of
for someone you've never met
or even laid your eyes on
Tiny moments like these fill my days
and although at first they may seem mundane
they carry a lifetime of longing
Once Bubba arrives there will be so many more moments that words just can't describe. So glad you're enjoying these moments. I can't believe you're 26 weeks already!! Time has flown by, I know probably not for you though. :)
